Scope and Contents The collection includes 3,167 LPs, vinyl 12” record albums, contained in paper album covers. The bulk of the collection can be classified as jazz. Other genres in the collection are blues, soul, gospel, classical, popular, rock and roll, and big band. Included are a small number of spoken word LPs of speeches from important historical figures such as Rev. Martin Luther King and President John F. Kennedy; and some well-known comedy artists.
