Scope and Contents
The collection contains materials related to the professional life of the creator, Patt Roberson. This includes business records, correspondence, ephemera, and memoranda. The collection is arranged by organizations that Ms. Roberson worked for or was a member of. The series include: Architect Firms, Dance Series, NOW Baton Rouge Chapter, Gilbert and Sullivan, and Jamie Wax, and Miscellaneous. The majority of the materials are from the late 1980s to 1990s; however, the NOW Baton Rouge Chapter records are from the early 1970s.

Biographical / Historical
Patt Foster Roberson is a local Baton Rouge advertiser that has worked with numerous organizations and individuals to sell add space for their events and recognition for their organizations and companies. She has worked with the Gilbert and Sullivan Society of Baton Rouge, NOW Baton Rouge Chapter, Theater Baton Rouge, Louisiana Ballet, Inc. and numerous architects from the area. She was once a professor in the Mass Communications Department at Southern University and has worked as a freelance journalist since her retirement.
The collection is arranged by organizations that Ms. Roberson worked for or was a member of. The archivist attempted to maintain original order as much as possible. Some items have been rearranged in order to present the series in chronological order. Original folder titles have been maintained by the archivist when available while others have been created to best describe the contents of the folder.

The collection was donated to the Baton Rouge Room in March of 2015 by Patt Foster Roberson.
This collection was processed by Alec Bourgeois and Emily Ward between December of 2016 and January of 2017.
