The collection contains two scrapbooks, a selection of photographs, a membership ledger, meeting minutes and an assortment of miscellaneous papers reflecting the financial and administrative activities of this small Baptist church.

Biographical / Historical
On January 13, 1966 a group met in J.W. Blackwell's home to discuss a mission. January 27, 1966 Brother Joe Hellum accepted the call to be the missionary. Calvary Baptist Church in St. Francisville, La. sponsored the mission. On September 4, 1966 Brother Hellum resigned the mission due to the ill health of his wife. On October 12, 1966 Brother Henry Jackson was called and on December 14, a vote was taken to organize a New Testament Church. On January 11, 1967 the congregation voted to purchase church property on Aubin Road for the amount of $29,800. On January 18, 1967 the congregation entered the bonding program in the amount of $60,000 and on January 27, 1966 the Antioch Baptist Church was organized. The church was disbanded in 2012.
